Labrador Retriever


The Golden Retriever’s most distinctive feature is its rich, shiny golden colored coat. Golden Retriever is medium sized, well built, with small drop ears and a natural tail with a slight upward curve. The length to height ratio is 12:11. Golden Retrievers another distinctive feature is its temperament. Golder Retriever is calm, friendly and social with other people and dogs. They are highly eager to learn.

Originated in Scottish highlands in the late 1800s. Golden Retriever was developed by Lord Tweedmouth, by crossing the yellow Flat-Coated Retrieve (Original) with various breeds including Tweed Water Spanier (now extinct), Bloodhound, Irish Setter and more. The Golden Retriever is one of the most popular breeds today. It also very suitable for obedience competitions, hunting and tracking, a bird-dog on both land and water, narcotics detection, as a service dog for the physically Challenged, as a guide for the blind and as a therapy dog
